Former first lady is dead

The former Kenya’s first lady, Mama Lucy Kibaki, is dead. Announcing the death of the 76-year-old, President Uhuru Kenyatta sent a message of condolence to the Kibaki family. She passed away early this morning while undergoing treatment in Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London. Her Excellency has been unwell for the last one month and has been receiving treatment here in Kenya and subsequently in the United Kingdom, ” President Uhuru Kenyatta said in the announcement.
